Have you ever felt like the sacrifices God is asking of you are too high? Why others seem to accomplish so much with half-committed lives, while God is always asking you for more? When it comes to the work God wants to do through you, have you ever asked yourself, “How much is too much?”
In Revelation 12:10, the Bible refers to Satan as “the accuser of the brethren.” He’s in your ear telling you that you won’t bounce back if you lay it all on the line for God. That you’ll be lonely. Or broke. That you’re not even worthy to do what God has burning on the inside of your heart.
Don’t you want to shut him up? The overcomers in verse 11 did so “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony”. It also says that “they loved not their lives unto death.” Chew on that for a minute.
If we truly want to walk in the power of God and make a lasting impact on others, we can’t put a ceiling on our sacrifice. Jesus gave it all for you. Are you willing to do the same?
