Though the additional steps caused hesitation, she found peace in trusting that even the extra work was divinely assigned. “I don’t always understand why God requires more of me in certain moments,” she reflects, “but I trust that His plan is working for my good.”
That trust did not come without testing. One of the most defining moments of her life was the loss of her mother and grandmother just seventeen days apart—while she was eight months pregnant. Through that unimaginable grief, she learned that faith is not reserved for easy seasons. “Faith is for difficult times,” she shares. “God prepares us through relationship so that when life throws a curveball, we already have what we need to survive, thrive, and soar.”
Dr. Mason believes detours are not delays, but divine development. While we wrestle with unanswered prayers and postponed breakthroughs, God is quietly working—straightening crooked paths, removing unseen valleys, and carving new ways through mountains ahead. “The destiny hasn’t changed,” she affirms. “Only the route.”
