Dr. Natalyn E. Randle is an entrepreneur, community leader, and founder of Black Business Women Rock!, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and connecting women entrepreneurs through shared resources, education, and collaboration. With a passion for leadership and economic empowerment, Dr. Randle created the organization to provide women with access to support systems that foster both personal and professional growth.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, she is the Owner and General Contractor of Over The Top Property Preservation, LLC, where she has built a reputation for excellence, integrity, and results in the construction industry. Her journey reflects resilience, vision, and a commitment to intentional growth.
Dr. Randle believes that when women are supported, aligned, and empowered, they create lasting impact within their families, businesses, and communities. Her mission is simple yet powerful: help women win together. We caught up with this busy woman to learn more about her journey, her inspiration, and the work she continues to do to empower women in business and beyond.
What inspired you to start Black Business Women Rock?
Early in my career at the phone company, I was mentored by strong, supportive women who poured into me. Their guidance changed my life. I wanted to pay that forward by creating a space where women could connect, grow, and access resources to build successful businesses together.
It has been nearly 15 years since you founded Black Business Women Rock. What has kept you motivated?
Service is truly my gift. I am motivated by inspiring other women through my life journey. Watching women grow, gain confidence, and succeed reminds me of why I started and keeps me committed to the mission.
As a general contractor in a male-dominated industry, what inspired you to enter construction?
I was inspired while remodeling my own home. The transformation process and the final outcome were so beautiful that it sparked a deep interest in the industry. I realized I wanted to help create those same experiences for others.
With over 20 years in the home industry, what keeps you motivated?
Serving homeowners and business partners with excellence brings me joy. I value collaboration, integrity, and delivering quality results. Knowing I can help bring someone’s vision to life keeps me passionate about the work.
