Printed books, shipping, and additional publishing services are not included in contributor fees. All submissions are subject to editorial guidelines and the contributor agreement.
To maintain the beauty and consistency of this special holiday collection, all written contributions must fit within their allotted pages.
Maximum 150 words per poem.
Maximum 20 lines, including blank lines.
Each poem must fit on one formatted interior page.
No excessively long lines or elaborate spacing.
One original quote per page.
Maximum 75 words combined per page.
All quotes must be original and written by the contributor.
Up to five original affirmations per page.
Maximum 75 words combined per page.
Affirmations should be positive, encouraging, and empowering.
All contributor biographies will appear in a dedicated section at the back of the book, separate from the poetry, quotes, and affirmations.
Each contributor may submit a short biography of up to 30 words.
IMPORTANT: Each $49 contribution includes one interior page. The $99 and $199 packages include two interior pages. Word and line limits do not guarantee that a submission will fit; final placement depends on the approved book layout.
Submissions requiring additional pages must be shortened to meet the selected package’s page limit. Multi-page poems are not permitted within a single allotted page.

This is a fast-moving holiday publishing project with a limited production schedule.
To participate, all contributors must complete registration, payment, and submission of their original writing by November 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
No late submissions will be accepted.
We strongly encourage early registration and submission so our editorial team can begin preparing the book immediately.
Our goal is to have The Heart of a Woman available for purchase on Amazon beginning December 1, allowing contributors to order copies as meaningful holiday gifts.
Amazon approval, printing, and shipping timelines are outside the publisher’s control. Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Do I have to be a professional writer?
Absolutely not! We welcome first-time writers and experienced authors. We are looking for original, meaningful writing that connects with the book’s themes.
How much does it cost to participate?
We offer three contributor packages: Poetry Contributor ($49), Featured Contributor ($99), and Spotlight Contributor ($199).
What is included in the $49 package?
One dedicated interior page, your credited contribution, a short biography at the back of the book, standard editorial review, proofreading, and professional formatting.
What is the difference between the $99 and $199 packages?
Both include two interior pages. The $99 package also includes a personalized promotional graphic and digital certificate. The $199 package adds an individual online media spotlight through Courageous Woman Magazine and an expanded online biography.
Can I submit a poem that is longer than 150 words?
No. Poems must be 150 words or fewer, contain no more than 20 lines including blank lines, and fit within one formatted page.
Can I submit more than one poem?
Yes! The $99 Featured Contributor and $199 Spotlight Contributor packages allow up to two poems, each in its own allotted page.
Can I submit a combination of poems, quotes, and affirmations?
Yes. Contributors selecting the two-page packages may submit an approved combination, provided each page meets the applicable guidelines.
Can I include my photograph and biography?
All contributors may submit a short biography of up to 30 words for the biography section at the back of the book. The $199 Spotlight package also includes a photograph and expanded biography for the online media feature.
Can I submit something I’ve already written?
Yes, provided you own the necessary rights, disclose any prior publication, and your submission meets our guidelines.
Will I receive a printed book?
Contributor fees do not include printed copies. Contributors may purchase copies separately when available.
Will my name appear in the book?
Yes. Each accepted contribution will be credited to its author.
Do I retain ownership of my writing?
Contributors retain copyright to their original work while granting Strive International Publishing the publication permissions specified in the contributor agreement.
What happens after I register?
You’ll receive contributor instructions, submission requirements, and the next steps in the publishing process.
What happens if I miss the November 10 deadline?
Because of our accelerated holiday production schedule, late submissions cannot be included in this edition. Please submit early.
