My chapter, “My Box Doesn’t Fit,” is about women entrepreneurs’ unique challenges that impact our businesses and family life. It encourages women to be comfortable being different, standing out, and using non-traditional methods to be successful as a woman, a mom, and an entrepreneur.
What inspired you to write this story and contribute to the book?
I have always felt the judgment by society for not wanting the traditional things in life and not living a conventional life. A few women showed me that it’s ok, and I want to be that encouragement for someone else.
What do you hope readers will gain from reading this chapter?
I hope they will be encouraged to live their way, even if it rocks the boat.
“I hope the readers will understand that although being a female entrepreneur brings additional challenges, they should still push through and follow their dreams. Be prepared and take on the world!”
