Vanessa I Farrell, MPH, MCHES is the CEO and founder of VI Health & Wellness Coaching, LLC. Vanessa is a Certified Health Coach. Her coaching practice helps busy women, prioritize and preserve their heart health without sacrificing their career. Born on the beautiful island of Montserrat, she currently resides on St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands.
My chapter chronicles my job loss in 2020 during the global pandemic that devastated me. God quickly reminded me that I had a business that I was treated like a hobby, and it was time to get serious – so I did.

What inspired you to write this story and contribute to the book?
I wanted a platform to talk about my business and how it was birth. This anthology provided the perfect opportunity to partner with other businesswomen in the territory to do just that.
