Nora was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, along with her three younger sisters. Nora and her husband, Neil, presently live outside Atlanta, Georgia. Together they have six adult children, 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

For 18 years, Nora was a practicing Muslim, trying to find out who God was. Little did she know that God’s plan for her life did not include the Islamic faith. The seed of Christianity was planted in her over twenty-six years ago when she joined Mary Kay. In her distinguished, twenty-six-year career with Mary Kay, Nora achieved the title of Senior National Sales Director, one of the highest levels in Mary Kay.

Nora has accepted her call from God to become a Christian inspirational speaker.

Tell us about your business.

Business Women On The Move For God is an organization that inspires and encourages women to be business owners and help current businesswomen who may be stuck become clear about their goals and dreams and how to achieve them! I also host a weekly online show, Real Conversations With Nora, which focuses on women’s many issues every day through transparent conversations. I dig deep to help women talk about their issues to help them reclaim their authentic selves and overcome their obstacles so they can navigate through life successfully. Most importantly we have a good time!

What motivated you to start this business?

I started Business Women On The Move For God because I love to see women own their greatness and learn how to walk in it every day! I want the next generation of young businesswomen to realize their greatness and be unapologetic about it! I want women to get up when they have fallen and learn the importance of continuing their journey!

My outcome and projection for the future for BWOTMFG are to establish a $10,000 scholarship program for young women who major in business!

What do you say to a woman who feels she is limited due to her age, education, or finances?

Psalm 37: says if you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart. If one walks by faith and not sight, then anything is possible! When you realize this, age, education, and finance will not become an issue.

Is there a point when someone should wait or postpone their dreams, and why?

One should never put their dreams on hold because you never know when

your blessing will appear. You should keep working and believing in them and

know they will show up!

What inspired you to speak to women about their greatness.

I believe I have a gift from God that allows me to connect with women.

I believe that if you can touch the heart of a woman, she will do all she can to support you. My goal is to teach women that their words have the power to change their lives. I also believe I can help them paint a picture of what they want their life to look like so that when it appears, all they have to do is step into it.
