Hello, I’m Keisha Seymore. I am a single mother of two beautiful children, and I work in the medical field as a CNA at a Jewish senior living nursing home, located in Rochester NY. I would describe myself as MARVELOUS!!!! I choose this word because that is what I am! This word means that I am set apart from anyone and everybody else. When God created me, He chose the ingredient to create me MARVELOUS, He said He would make me in HIS own image.

What is your chapter about
My chapter is about bringing awareness, it’s about showing the obstacles that we all may face in different situations. how we can still live a “normal” life with challenges and live to tell our story!
What inspired you to write this story and contribute to the book?
The reason I chose to take part in this anthology project was that I believe we all have a story. My hope and desire are to bring awareness and educate others as it relates to issues we face.
What do you hope readers will gain from reading this chapter?
My wish, as you read my chapter, is to find comfort in all that you are and are becoming – and in your personal stories. Be true to who you are.
