TURNING PAIN INTO PURPOSE THROUGH PAGEANTRY
With Amb. Dr. (h.c.) Briana Rice, BS
Miss U.S. Woman of Achievement 2025
Founder of the Love and Light Movement & “Grace for Your Journey”
There’s a quiet strength that blooms in the heart of every woman who has been broken and still chooses to rise. Few embody that truth as gracefully as Ambassador Dr. Briana Rice, Miss U.S. Woman of Achievement 2025.
A developmental biologist by profession, Dr. Rice devoted her career to advancing patient safety worldwide. Her life took a dramatic turn after a devastating car accident left her with a traumatic brain injury — a moment that forever changed how she moved, thought, and saw herself. What some viewed as limitation, she saw as divine invitation — to slow down, listen to her body, and rediscover her worth beyond perfection and productivity.
Her healing journey became less about returning to who she was and more about embracing who she was becoming. When she entered the Woman of Achievement pageant system, it wasn’t for the crown — it was for reclamation. Each time she stepped on stage, she rewrote the narrative of what it means to live with an invisible disability, showing other women that their worth is not defined by struggle but by the courage to keep standing.
Through pageantry, Dr. Rice discovered that grace is not weakness — it’s a quiet strength that whispers, “I’m still here.”with
“Healing with grace means allowing life to reshape you without hardening you,” she says. “It’s choosing compassion over comparison, faith over fear, and light over limitation.”
Empowering Women in Business
Beyond the stage, Dr. Rice extends her mission through service as the Riverside Director for the Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs (GSFE), where she helps women connect, collaborate, and grow in business and leadership.
“Business is a catalyst for spiritual growth,” she says. “Women face unique challenges in entrepreneurship, and my purpose is to help them rise above barriers — not only in the Inland Empire but across the globe.”
In 2026, Dr. Rice will be traveling with Leaders of all Nations (LOANI) as a global hygiene hero. We will be sending hygiene kits to young women in need. And I will be traveling to Nepal and India.
Practical Ways to Give Yourself Grace
- Honor Your Healing Pace. Healing doesn’t have a timeline. Give yourself permission to rest — you are not behind, you are becoming.
- Redefine Beauty and Strength. Beauty isn’t about crowns or gowns; it’s courage. Strength is in allowing yourself to feel, process, and heal.
- Turn Reflection into Ritual. Write a “Love Letter to Your Inner Queen.” A year from now, you’ll see how far grace has carried you.
- Find Purpose in Pain. Ask, What is this moment teaching me? Pain often points to passion — and to purpose.
- Surround Yourself with Light. Healing happens in community. For Briana, that light shines through pageantry, her church family, and women who believed in her before she believed in herself.
The Grace Behind the Crown
Today, Briana sees the crown not as perfection but as a mirror reflecting every woman who has ever felt unseen — reminding her that she is already enough.
