In this exclusive Q&A, Veronique opens up about her challenges, her calling, and the courageous path that led her to the crown and beyond.
What inspired you to begin your entrepreneurial journey?
My entrepreneurial journey began with a deep desire to empower women and inspire healing through faith and self-love. As a passionate author, I wanted to share my experiences and the lessons I’ve learned, which led to the creation of The Strongest Woman In the World Is YOU: 21 Days of Mental Healing, YCW Royalty, LLC, and Roses Without Thorns, Inc. These ventures are driven by my mission to help women find strength and peace through their own stories.
What has been the most rewarding moment in your career so far?
The most rewarding moment has been seeing the profound impact of The Strongest Woman In the World Is YOU: 21 Days of Mental Healing, particularly when women share how they’ve been empowered to reclaim their worth and heal. It stands out because it’s not just a book—it’s a reflection of the work I’ve done as an author to help women live out their truths.
What keeps you motivated to continue your work?
What keeps me motivated is knowing that the work I’m doing is making a tangible difference. Whether through my books or businesses—The Strongest Woman In the World Is YOU, YCW Royalty, or Roses Without Thorns, Inc.—my passion for helping women heal and reclaim their confidence fuels me. I am constantly inspired by the transformation stories and the courage of the women I connect with.
What challenges have you faced, and how have you overcome them?
A major challenge I’ve faced was balancing my roles as a mother, business owner, and author while staying true to my mission. There were times when I questioned if I could keep going, but I leaned into my faith, stayed connected to my purpose, and took things one day at a time. Persistence, the support of loved ones, and the strength of my faith kept me moving forward.
Can you give us a quick overview of your brands and what makes them unique?
Roses Without Thorns, Inc. is a nonprofit that empowers women through mental health advocacy, self-love, and sisterhood. As an author, I write books like The Strongest Woman In the World Is YOU and Jesus + Therapy: A Self-Love Journal, sharing tools and inspiration for women on their healing journeys. YCW Royalty is a faith-based t-shirt line designed to empower women to boldly walk in their identity. What makes my ventures unique is the combination of faith, mental health, and personal empowerment, offering holistic support and growth for women.
What advice would you give to women pursuing purpose-driven careers?
Stay grounded in your mission, no matter the challenges.
Surround yourself with people who uplift your vision and spirit.
Take time to rest and reflect—nurturing your soul is just as important as hustling.
What’s next for you and your organizations?
Looking ahead, I’m excited to expand Roses Without Thorns, Inc. to help even more women on their healing journeys. I also plan to release additional books that offer deeper insights into faith, mental health, and self-love. There are plans to grow YCW Royalty and create more empowering spaces for women through both fashion and written work.
