Tell me about your business.
I work with women from diverse backgrounds who are faced with traumatic life experiences. They are nurtured and supported, resulting in personal abundant growth and transformation. I help them find their voice and persevere through life’s challenges.
What is the motivation behind your business?
What motivated me was the loss of my mother and living my life as a people pleaser. The loss of my mother brought me to my knees. I then discovered who I really am and that I want to help women discover who they are and live the life of their dreams.
I work with women have been hurt, whether it is in relationships, loss of a loved one, and low self-esteem.
“I want women to know that they matter! Their voice matters! That they can win in this life no matter what comes their way.”
Tell us about a time when you had to be courageous.
I would say when I decided to no longer be a people pleaser. People pleasing is an addiction. I discovered that living my life for others caused me to lose my identity. So, the loss of my mother is what woke me up and helped me find my purpose, my voice and create the life that I choose to live.
Who inspires you?
Women who have been through traumatic experiences and to see them fight and win. My relationship with God inspires me because He has really shown me who I am in His eyes and how much He loves me. My mother also inspired me. She had MS and watching how she never gave up and was always positive with her illness made me see that I am stronger than I know.
Were there times when you wanted to give up? If so, what helped keep you going?
The loss of my mother was the most traumatic event to ever occur in my life. I felt like an orphan. I didn’t know what to do. I died when I lost her. God, during this time, taught me what being courageous means. He showed me that in the midst of my pain that I was a brave and strong person. He showed me who I really am and that my loss would help other women with their pain and grief.
What encouraging words do you have for someone who wants to give up?
That you are about to win! You are almost there! That you are stronger than you think. You are still fighting because something inside of you will not allow you to give up. Surround yourself with positive people. Speak life into yourself with positive affirmations. You Got This!
What’s next for your business?
To continue to empower women and help them find their voice. There will be an upcoming Empowerment Conference for Women.
