What motivated you to do this?
To see teenage mothers get back on track with their children and have self-sufficiency with no more lack. This work motivates me every day because I was a teenage mother and I Dr. Cortesha Cowanknow the importance of resources in education and parenting skills waking up every day knowing that I am supporting and motivating and empowering another teenage mother to become a successful adult parent makes my heart sing. This motivation I have will never go away because every day I get to see another mom make it to take care of her child feel confident in better about herself.
About Dr. Cortesha Cowan
Founder of Mothers Helping Mothers Inc, a non-profit organization driven to support the success of teen mothers and expectant teen mothers. Dr. Cortesha is also a life coach, business birthing coach, author, and received the 2016 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama. Dr.Cowan is Loani Executive Global member, Ambassador Commonwealth Entrepreneur Club. Philanthropist, International Influencer an Advocate for teen moms who experience homelessness or lack of support.
She also received the Outstanding Community Service Award from National Council of Negro Women and is a beautiful wife and mother.
Dr.Cowan created a step-by-step program on how to open a safe house/transitional home for teenage mothers in their children Dr. Cowan is known for her global movement in Cape Town South Africa and Nigeria working with women on finding their purpose. Dr. Cowan’s recent launch in Africa is a Business Center teaching women how to start and maintain a business in Nigeria. She is known as one of the best business Consulting firms in Africa. Her ability to teach women how to stay on track and create generational wealth for their children’s children. In 2022 Dr. Cowan has received four globe awards already for her outstanding work and supporting and helping teenage mothers and their children and for the entrepreneurship work she does with Single mothers going into business.
