THE 6TH ANNUAL DANGERMAN HERO AWARDS SHOW CELEBRATES TWO-TIME ACADEMY AWARD WINNING ACTOR SEAN PENN AND ROBERT SAUSEDO, CEO OF COMMUNITY BUILD.
Los Angeles, March 18, 2022. The Sixth Annual DangerMan Hero Awards will be Super Special this year. Among the numerous honorees for the night being acknowledged for their community activism are Sean Penn, Actor, Director, Screenwriter and Producer, and Robert Sausedo, President and CEO of Community Build Inc. and Founder of the Community Response System of South Los Angeles (CRESSLA)
Sean Penn is a two-time Academy Award-winning actor, Director, Producer, and Co-Founder of CORE. CORE’s Mission is to respond immediately to support underserved communities across the globe through and beyond crisis. Robert Sausedo has been a beacon of hope for the residents of South Los Angeles during the 2020 pandemic. As a native Angeleno, Sausedo has been engaged and involved with civic matters that impact youth, economic development, social justice, and literacy for over 30 years.
This year’s awards show will be a Red Carpet Virtual event. Aretha Franklin tribute Artist, Vicky Love will headline the entertainment as the Show celebrates the noteworthy accomplishments of our Honorees.
As a ‘real life’ urban superhero, DangerMan is an advocate for children’s rights, a promoter of literacy, safety, and good health. He wages against bullying and also fights human trafficking. DangerMan visits schools and community events encouraging his audience with the motto “No gangs, No drugs, No alcohol or tobacco.” He has traveled throughout America and Haiti empowering children to live their best life. “Protect, Promote, and Provide” are the pillars DangerMan lives by. This year is the 24th year anniversary of DangerMan and the fastest-growing superhero brand in the world.
