Being a spiritual advisor, Chaplain, grief recovery method specialist, inspirational speaker and CEO of the Azal Benne Lockett Foundation has been a series of chapters that each have uniquely contributed to my current space.

“My journey has been guided by a spiritual connection”

Following The Heart-Wrenching Loss Of My Son

It became evident that my personal and professional lives were destined to intertwine further. As I devoted myself to assisting others through their intense grieving processes, I felt the divine assurance that this path would ultimately reflect God’s glory. Initially, offering support to others while navigating my deep sorrow was immensely difficult. I have found profound fulfillment in aiding others as they navigate their paths of grief.

Advancing To New Heights And Marking Significant Accomplishments

I initiated the Azal Benne Lockett Foundation and introduced the Permission series aimed at aiding those who are grieving. This series, encompassing “Permission To Grieve”, “Permission To Heal”, “Permission To Live and Laugh”, and “Permission To Love Again” offers a comprehensive support system for those grappling with loss.

Key milestones in my journey also include the debut of The Grieving Journey Podcast,  contributions to the Michigan Chronicle,  a guest on FOX 2 News, numerous podcasts, and articles in but not limited to The New York Weekly. Other highlights include being the co-author of Amazon’s #1 seller Delayed But Not Denied 2 and the creation of a healing card deck designed to assist those on their path through grief.
