What motivated you to do this?
I wanted to leave a legacy for my kids and build financial wealth in my family for their kids. I also wanted to create a unique flavor for the spice world. Also, something for my people who can’t eat salt and for those who bake cakes, pies, and Cookies. As we grow bigger, we will introduce new bold flavors for the world to enjoy.
About Sameerah Chandler
I am the owner of Jersey Girls Seasoning and Sensual Scents Candles. We were Established in 2009. We are a Black Woman-owned Business. The name JGS comes from the hometown of my mother and father, Camden, New Jersey. We are an Organic Hala spice company that prides itself on non-GMO and other chemicals that are not organic. We are constantly creating new business opportunities to work with other Woman-owned businesses. Our hope for the business is to be in every top-name store like Walmart. As a single mother of 5, it can sometimes get really hard, but we strive to keep pushing forward for bigger and better things. Jersey Girls certainly has three different flavors. We have the original with no salt, and of course, we have our cinnamon and sugar for my bakers. The website is currently under construction and being updated with new pictures and ideas, but you can check out the store.
